About the painting above: acrylic colours on canvas /
dimensions: 50,8 / 40,6 cm (20 / 16 inches)
I found this canvas with hole, cut out over the face, it seemed as the painting was "killed". It was "dead". But in difference of people, the paintings can reincarnate themselves and I decided to bring it back to life. I did my best. So, from the "hole" I "opened" a view to other world. And overpainted the white man, dressed in traditional outfit of Native Ameican. Actualy, I did one comlitely brand new painting.
Sold to an El Segundo colletor (El Segundo is a sitelite city of Los Angeles, CA).
The painting above has been created during the time of ESMoA Artist-in-Residency Programme at ESMoA, El Segundo, CA, USA / 2018. And this is a project for disposable online exhibition with disposable pictures, as the only appropriate for the consumer society. The idea of disposable art opposes the maxim: "Life is short, art is forever!"
