BOTTLES FULL OF HELIUM / unrealized installation / 2011 - ?
a temporary installation / plactic bottles, hanged ("moored") up to the floor, because they are full of helium
dimensions variable
This idea steps on an underwater installation, which I created at the Kabakum Beach in 2003. Then, I collected garbage plastic bottles from the beach and cleared their labels and "moored" them very strongly, with a fishermen string to the bottom. When they are underwater and full of air, the bottles look like silver. At the pictures here they are not entirely full to their limit, that's why they don't look like silver.
The pictures here illustrate the idea that if the bottles are entirely full with helium, they will have enough elevating force to stay in the air and have to be very, very strongly tied ("moored") to the bottom.
